Provide enriching and preventive services to couples in at-risk marriages and relationships to bring complete healing and lasting restoration.

I offer therapy services and facilitate courses, workshops, groups, and empowerment events to help, overwhelmed people transform their lives, relationships, and marriages.

  • Over the past few years, I have seen how therapy can heal wounds that people weren’t even aware of when they first came in. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my hope is to facilitate healing from the past so that people can feel whole and live healthy lives. I work with individuals, couples, and families but I specialize in relationship enrichment and divorce counseling.

  • I enjoy working with premarital couples to help them adequately prepare for marriage. I also help those who are on the brink of divorce, work toward reconciliation and focus on marriage enrichment to avoid getting to a place of hopelessness (which is when they seek divorce).

Taking a systemic approach, I consider the client’s context, family, work, social life, culture, and faith to assess their situation and collaborate to identify and accomplish therapeutic goals. I believe that our attachments and experiences in childhood have a direct impact on our personalities and behaviors as adults. Therefore, I use genograms to create a thorough family history because it is impossible to fully understand the individual without understanding the system that birthed them.

I welcome those who also seek guidance and clarity utilizing a faith-based approach. Born and raised in the church, I have a great understanding of the challenges and emotional wounds that religion can create. With that understanding, I seek to help my clients reframe their view of God and restore it to what God intended it to be - untainted by religion and traditions. I love to integrate biblical truths with psychological theories as I work from a holistic approach.

I have a passion for helping women process current and childhood trauma as well as other challenging life experiences to learn how to feel empowered, confident, increase their self-love, and believe they deserve healthy relationships. Part of being in a healthy relationship is having a healthy relationship with yourself.

I remember hearing this quote in graduate school and it has not left me since. I am thoroughly equipped to be a support system to you as an individual, couple, or family, as I have gone through my own healing process. I am committed to obtaining continual therapy, training, and supervision throughout my career to be the best support in your journey towards self-understanding and transformation.
